They have worked hard to preserve the natural setting and have the honor of being designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International. They are one of only 34 courses in California and 531 in the world to receive this honor. They were given this prestigious designation by achieving excellence in environmental planning, wildlife and habitat management, outreach and education. They’ve also worked on water conservation and preserving the quality of the water by reducing use of harmful chemicals.

The results of their environmental stewardship benefit not only the animals that live there, but the people who live and visit as well.
